We employ a dedicated local team of tree climbers and groundsmen all of whom combine enthusiasm for the job with a solid background of experience and qualifications. I myself ,the proprioter, gained my National Certificate in Arboriculture in 1989 at Merrist Wood, Surrey, internationally respected as the leading training centre for tree surgery. Those years of full time study have stood me in good stead as many of our competitors consider themselves fully qualified after only a six week course. All our staff have the appropriate certificates and training; these can range from N.P.T.C. (National Proficiency Training Council) certificates to HND in Forestry.

Having spent some twenty years tree climbing as a sub-contractor, I now have the satisfaction of bringing my skills and knowledge to my own tree surgery practice and am pleased to have an excellent team working to those same standards.

We keep ourselves updated with any new research in tree surgery, as studies can sometimes suggest slight modifications in the way we work that improve our techniques. For more on tree surgery techniques see the section: "Care for Trees" .
